Thanks for the Metropolis post in this rotation.
I know for being a silent film it's usually an acquired taste to watch.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your time very much for your professional and results-oriented help. I won't hesitate to recommend your web site to any individual who ought to have counselling on this situation. fax list

How much does it cost to keep this station running per month?
(In case I become a quad-drillionaire with lots of free time.)

Hey folks... channel's down (obv.), but I can't access the site to restart it. There's a bit of a history of the channel doing this unfortunately, and I just have to wait it out until the website comes back up. Maybe when we come back I'll have some new stuff - been adding to my collection lately with some weird stuff (you know how I like that)

So, we'll just have to sit tight and I'll keep trying. As far as the question regarding cost - I'm just about to re-up for next year (at the end of next month, I believe) and the current cost is right around $200 a year. But that's a setup where someone else streams it for me, all I do is encode and upload. The software is out there to do it all yourself, but that's all beyond me. I do it 'the dummy way'...

Why not put up a paypal donate button? Help offset some of your cost.

eh, it has always been self funded, since day 1. If money were tighter for me I might ask for help up to like 50 percent, but right now that's not the case. Not sure how many more years I'll be keeping it going. I suppose until the host site goes out of business. They don't even offer new signups for TV packages anymore, if I am correct. I'm just sort of grandfathered in.

Yeah wow, I knew it cost money but I never thought about the fact that you pay more for me to watch it than I would pay for cable. And I'm

Actually I have an idea that may or may not be worth implementing. You could allow people that visit the blog to mine cryptocurrency for you. Of course that's a whole adventure/hobby itself, but still, didn't take much investment in time/effort for me to do so I decided to give it a go. Probably wouldn't earn much unless a fan of the channel has a gaming rig or something with your blog open but you never know, maybe they do and would like to support the site.

I only got like 1500 pageviews last month according to Blogger stats, and in that time visitors mined 3 cents of Monero cryptocurrency. The payout is about $4. Hopefully the min payout will stay at $4 if my 3cents worth become worth $30.

If you want to try it out I recommend Mineralt (use my referral link if you don't mind https://mineralt.io/join/1287) and sign up real quick (free) and then you enter your site in and copy the javascript code, paste it into your blogger layout here as a javascript widget and then if anyone wants to support you they can leave the playlist open in their browser. You can set it to require them to start it, but on my blog I have it set to start until you turn it off. Of course, you can set the amount of resources it uses, and unlike some others it asks for permission so it's not as likely to get blocked by adblockers etc.
